At Foxconn Australia, we are aware of the significance of our role in the market and the associated responsibilities we have towards community and our employees. Therefore, we have established a unified system for the management of health and safety at work, environmental protection, ethics, and business continuity called the Social and Environmental Responsibility program. As members of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition we fully adopt and support the RBA Code of Conduct in our operations and supply chain.

Transplant Australia

Transplant Australia exists to enrich and celebrate life. Its vision is for Australia to lead the world in organ and tissue donation and transplantation – saving lives, improving quality of life and providing much needed care and support.

Northcott

Northcott is one of the largest providers of support and services for people with disabilities and their families living in NSW and the ACT. Its purpose is to build an inclusive society where people can live the life they choose.

Tech Collect

TechCollect is a free national recycling service for computers, computer accessories and TVs (e-waste). TechCollect was established in response to the Federal Government’s National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS) and is the only not-for-profit industry backed e-waste recycling service approved under the NTCRS.

R.B.A.

The RBA was founded in 2004 by a small group of electronics companies seeking to create a industry-wide standard on social, environmental and ethical issues in the electronics industry supply chain. The founding members saw an opportunity to drive positive change and increase efficiency across the industry by creating a unified approach.

At Foxconn Australia, we maintain current levels of key ISO certifications, ensuring we are continuously improving our processes to deliver great outcomes not compromising quality, every time.

ISO 14000 is a family of standards related to environmental management that exists to help organizations (a) minimize how their operations (processes, etc.) negatively affect the environment (i.e., cause adverse changes to air, water, or land); (b) comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, and (c) continually improve in the above.

The ISO 9000 family of quality management systems standards is designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product. ISO 9000 deals with the fundamentals of quality management systems, including the eight management principles.

Our technicians are certified to carry out inspection and testing that complies with AS/NZS 3760, a standard created by Standards Australia describing a testing method and frequency for electrical appliances. Appliances are inspected for damage, and various measurements are made to the appliances’ earth continuity, insulation, polarity, and physical condition.
